Below is a list of the most recent web sites I have designed and developed. Further details are available for each site under its specific section. Feel free to check out the live site by clicking on any of the links provided to you.
All of these sites have table-less layouts using CSS2 and developed using XHTML 1.0 that is compliant with all of the current W3C web standards for the XHTML 1.0 Strict or Transitional document type. The programs I use to create my layouts, logos, and images are Adobe
Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Flash. Depending on the site, it might require certain server-side languages such as ASP.NET and PHP along with various UI frameworks (Scriptaculous, Moo.fx).
If you are interested in seeing other sites I have designed layouts for or sites that have since gone down please view my web layouts section.
Retensa
http://www.retensa.com - Retensa is an employee retention firm located in New York City. This site was coded using XHTML 1.0 Transitional and the server-side language used was PHP5. My job was to take Retensa's site and redesign and develop it from the ground up to give them a fresher look with more modern web site elements embedded into the site.
Kent State University College of Business & Graduate School of Management
View Active Beta Site - This site was made in an effort to revamp the outdated KSU College of Business Administration web site. The idea was to create a site the staff and students could potentially make their default page on their browsers. A lot of research and development went in to the creation of what the site became.
The site was coded XHTML 1.0 Transitional and the server-side code in ASP.NET with SQL Server 2000. What you can't see is that this site also has a backend Intranet available to the staff and future web developers to update the photos, text, etc.. The flash on the homepage was developed using Adobe Flash with ActionScript 2.0. The images are pulled dynamically via XML from SQL Server and can be changed using the Intranet.
The content and pages of this site are currently still under development, but you can view the "beta" version right now using the address or links provided.
Economics Department - KSU College of Business Administration
View Active Beta Site - The Economics Department site was created to separate their department from the rest of the college. It is designed to feel similar to the rest of the sites in the College of Business Administration but have its own unique elements that stand out. This site was created in ASP.NET, XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
This site is ready for deployment but is at a standstill while the College of Business Administration waits until all of the other departments' web sites have been completed. You can view the fully functional "beta" site until it has been officially released.
Marketing Department - KSU College of Business Administration
View Active Beta Site - Just like the Economics Department, the Marketing Department site was created to separate their department from the rest of the college. It is designed to feel similar to the rest of the sites in the College of Business Administration but have its own unique elements that stand out. This site was created in ASP.NET, XHTML 1.0 Transitional.
